As a developer building decentralized applications and smart contracts, a testnet acts as your production environment. It allows you to build, test, and deploy before moving to the mainnet, providing a safe and secure environment for testing your application.
The Ethereum community maintains two primary public testnets: Sepolia, one of Ethereum’s most prominent proof-of-stake (PoS) testnets, and Goerli, which was recently sunsetted.
We are happy to announce that Axelar now supports Polygon Amoy (Sepolia) and Linea Sepolia on testnet. This follows our previous announcement, "Goerli Deprecation and New Ethereum Sepolia, Layer 2 Sepolia Support with Axelar," aimed at continuing our support for developers building innovative applications. Check the full list of supported networks here.
